How to Help the Campaign
1. WRITE TO YOUR COUNCILLORS!
A list of e-mail addresses is below. Our letter writing guide can be found here:- https://bfare.org.uk/letter-writing-guidance/
If you need to find your Bedford Ward and names of your Councillors – please use this link: https://councillorsupport.bedford.gov.uk/mgFindMember.aspx
2. Respond to the EWR Route Alignment Consultation 2021
We have developed a “Guide to Responding to EWR Route Alignment Consultation 2021”. Please do respond to the consultation. We have included some useful suggestions on how to formulate your answer.
In order to have your voice heard it is important to write letters/emails to the people that represent us.
We have developied a letter writing guide to help with key points to raise and on this page you will find a list of appropriate people to contact. If you do receive a response it would be very helpful if you could send us a copy of it for reference purposes.

Your Local Bedford Borough Councillors
Everyone working on this campaign is a volunteer. We are passionate about Bedford’s future and we believe the public must be consulted in the East West Rail Bedford Route investment project. Can you help us? If so, please get in contact.
We need help on the ground and on line. You can help with organising the delivery of leaflets in your area, putting up signs, and speaking with your neighbours.
On line we need assistance with monitoring social media accounts, posting information regarding upcoming events and working together as an online community.
We would like to thank everyone that has volunteered so far. Without you – this campaign would not be established.
Thank you for everything you have done to support Bedford For A Re Consultation.

If you’d like to get your local area involved in supporting the BFARe Campaign, let us help you.
We are creating a campaign kit which includes leaflets, signs, print at home posters and helpful information to update your village website or to go into your village magazine.
Please get in contact if you need more support.
